Co-op and PEP programs
The UNB Faculty of "Engineering Co-operative Education Program" offers both "Co-op" and the "Internship/PEP Program" for Chemical, Civil, Geodesy & Geomatics, Electrical & Computer, and Mechanical Engineering.
Co-op includes a minimum of four, 4 month related work experiences that alternate with study terms. The Internship enables a more senior student going out on one extended work experience.
Both programs extend the traditional BSc in Engineering by one year. Upon graduation students can receive up to 12 months credit towards their 4 year Engineer In Training requirements, on the road to becoming a Professional Engineer.
